Please read the following information before purchasing:

Dahlias are frost tender so are best not planted to early - mid to late October is a good time unless you live somewhere that is reliably frost free earlier than this or you can offer them protection.  Because a lot of the dahlias in New Zealand are imported they may have growth shoots before this time.  If this happens you should remove them from the packaging and place them in just moist potting mix and keep them somewhere cool and sheltered. Opening the bag when you receive your tuber is also a good idea for storing until it is time to plant. Imported tubers can also be quite shrivelled looking because they are out of season but these will still grow just fine.

PLEASE NOTE:  this is a Dahlia PRE ORDER. Tubers will be sent out from mid August. These are Fiesta brand tubers and may be from imported or NZ grown stock. To mitigate any risk of Crown gall we recommend planting your tuber in a pot for at least one growing season away from any already established dahlia stock.  Tubers will grow and flower fine in a pot.  While we will endeavour to complete your order in full however due to tuber variability and any quality issues we may not be able to fully supply some varieties.  If this does happen we will be in touch to refund or replace with another of your choice.
